I have 2 gorgeous girls Macey who’s coming up 5 and Asha is 15 months.
I love the toy library because it’s a great way to meet other parents with children similar age to yours, the toys are always new and exciting for the kids to play with and it saves sooo much money. Our girls really enjoy being able to choose toys that interest them at the time. I also love that you can borrow all the ‘big’ toys you don’t particularly want to buy as you know soon enough they will grow out of them anyway! We also attend the playgroup that’s is run by the toy librarian on a Thursday morning and have found this to be a fun and safe place for play based learning for Asha. I have also met a nice group of ladies and their children and it’s so nice to be able to have a coffee and a chat with them. |

I love the toy library because my kids love playing with different toys on a regular basis. We moved here from Melbourne in May 2017 with just a few boxes, and it has been so wonderful not having to buy any expensive, space consuming toys. We also live in a small farmhouse, so no room to keep lots of toys anyway.
The toy library has also been the reason for my connection to the community here in Bulls. I have lived in many towns before but not one where I have felt part of the community and being part of the toy library has definitely been the reason for this. |

I love that we can always change up the toys we have at home without buying new toys all the time. I also love that my children understand that the toys we borrow need to be returned so that other children can have a turn with them! They love visiting the toy library and choosing new toys to take home!
We joined the Bulls Toy Library back in 2017 because we wanted to be able to borrow large outside toys that we could have for a little while and then return! Fun Fact about me I've lived in 3 different countries on 3 different continents. When we moved to Bulls it was my 11th town in 10 years - but I've now lived in Bulls longer than any other place since I was 13 years old! |

I am delighted to be your new Librarian and blown away with the quality and quantity of toys. I was a Playcentre mum to my two sons who are now 33 and 31!
My husband and I moved to the Manawatu 2.5 years ago having lived in Auckland over 30 years. We moved to Bulls in March. My career background has been a Legal Executive, plus accounting. Then went into management of law firms and medical centres. I decided I’d had enough stress and set up an online store called www.Mamalife.co.nz. I make all the balms and pre-mix bliss balls. I source mostly NZ made. If you ever want something just email me and you can save postage! Plus I’ll donate 5% to the Library. Please introduce yourself when you pop in. |

Kia Ora everyone,
Our whānau live in Feilding and I'm currently a stay at home mum to our 3 busy kiddies aged 7, 5 and 3 years old. We joined the toy library around 5 years ago and are so blown away by the quality and range of the toys available. It's been amazing to swap toys in and out as it suits our ages, stages and children's interests. I also love that we don't have to store huge amounts of toys in our house! It's taken a few years (and another baby stage) to get through but now I'm lucky to be a part of the toy library community and looking forward to contributing in any way I can. |

I am ECE trained and previously taught at Bulls Kindergarten however I am currently a stay at home Mum of Hudson and chief calf rearer I love being surrounded by friends and family and exploring new places.
I love the toy library because it means we don't have to have as many toys at home. I can follow and respond to Hudsons interest as he grows and develops. Bulls toy library is very well resourced and without a doubt I can find something to extend and challenge him. Each time I swap toys it is like Christmas, Hudsons whole face lights up with excitement. Always something different to keep him busy. |

Kia ora koutou, I am a trained ECE and Primary teacher. I currently share my time between being a Māmā to Theo and working part time as an Early Intervention Teacher for the Ministry of Education, supporting tamariki with diverse needs is my passion.
My whānau joined the Bulls Toy library in 2019 and we couldn't be happier to be part of this great community! Part of my teaching and personal philosophy in life is around being able to nurture and extend upon tamariki interests and learning needs and also around making conscious efforts to be sustainable. Becoming a member of Bulls Toy Library supports this lifestyle and allows our son Theo to explore a huge variety of different resources and to share in excitement around these! We love seeing his response to new play spaces and resources that we pick up! The toy library has endless opportunities for your tamariki to engage with their imagination, to be creative, to spark curiosity, to extend on their learning, and to have oodles of FUN! Fun Fact about me I have two cats called Simba and Lady, and also a labrador called Tinka; can you tell I'm a Disney fan! |

Kia Ora,
I am proud mum to my 4 beautiful souls 1 boy (7) & 3 girls (5, 3 & 1) also proud step mum to a wonderful 10 year old girl. I share my life with my perfectly imperfect man child who is a dairy farmer. Our house is always full of fun, crazy, loudness and loads of love. I joined the toy library as a volunteer when my final baby was just a few months old as a good way to get back into the community and help build some more connections with the families in our town with children of similar ages. I also love playing with toys! Fun fact about me I love dancing and all things musical performing. I did ballet for about 15 years and although I don’t officially dance anymore… I do enjoy a good boogie in the lounge with my children. |
